Skater in Colmar Practising Tricks

While walking through the streets of Colmar as I arrived in the city centre, I saw young kids doing all sorts of sports. Among them was this one skater in Colmar, who was practising his skills which I was able to capture in this image.

Trail of a Car

Back when I was visiting Munich, I decided to take a long walk at night alongside Harris and his brother Rauf. After walking through multiple streets, we came to the front of Central Munich Residency and outside was this empty road from where after every few seconds of the interval a fast-driving car would pass. This gave me an idea to capture the lightning trail of a car.

Dog Protects Homeless Owner

Once late at night in Milan, I was walking out of the Metro after visiting San Siro. As I was walking out of Metro Station, I saw this sight where this dog stood extremely alert looking out for his owner. This picture gives true meaning to how a dog is a man’s best friend. Indeed, the dog protects homeless owners.

Maman by Louise Bourgeois

Maman by Louise Bourgeois is a masterpiece of art which was placed right in front of Guggenheim Museam, Bilbao until recently. Maman recently found a new home in Greece and is currently placed at Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).

Maman is the French word for Mother. Bourgeois stated that the work was symbolic of her mother, a weaver and tapestry restorer. With twenty eggs in its abdomen, the sculpture embodies ideas of maternal protection. However, the artist’s relationship with motherhood was ambiguous, contradictory, and complex. Dominating its surroundings and teetering on rangy, segmented legs, Maman also evokes fear and suggests entrapment.

In this picture, Maman is surrounded by fog which was released every night improving the region’s ambience. I took a long exposure shot to give it a much more artistic effect and to help disappear any surrounding people that may make the picture less artsy.

A Very French Photo

If someone had asked me which one of your photos you think represents France I will say this particular photo. So what makes this a French Photo you ask? The answer is very simple, the picture is filled with red colour, a street full of flowers, and the cherry on top is the restaurant in the background named “Restaurant La Romantica”. All this represents France, whether it is food, romance, the affection of the people of France with red colour or the beautiful flower-filled street of Colmar.

Graffiti in Lisbon

While some really nice street art can be observed all across Lisbon, this particular graffiti in lisbon caught my eye and forced me to stand in a stinking underground tunnel to observe this master piece of art. This particular picture has many artistic meaning behind it which honestly many people will never be able to infer.
